Welcome To Black for a Cause

The 1970's was a time of great upheaval, when the 'Black Identity' was forged out of collective and individual actions.

It was also a time of reversals when Black people formed groups to take hold of their destiny and defined who they wanted to be.

'Coloured' became 'Black' and 'Black was not just the opposite of 'white,' it was a symbol of a righteous and political Cause.

Black people were therefore not the victims of their hue, they were 'Black For a Cause...Not Just Because.'
